Obsidian Skull Press is my passion project, committed to showcasing diverse perspectives and fostering inclusivity within genre fiction and art. Serving as the official home of my macabre musings, as Obsidian Skull Press grows, I strive to offer engaging content, including short fiction, original art, author interviews, and insightful reviews, all aimed at celebrating underrepresented voices in fiction and the arts.

Our Mission

💀 Explore the power of dark/speculative fiction and art to transgress genre boundaries, conventions, and stereotypes by addressing the lack of diversity and inclusion traditionally found in the fiction genre

💀 Create a safe, pleasurable, inclusive community and platform for artists, authors, readers, stories, and art that challenge the status quo.

💀 Encourage creativity and social commentary by opening the possibilities of diverse stories and characters, fostering awareness and change.

💀 Provide art and stories that are powerful forces of nature and supernatural, each possessing in their own narrative and visual right the ability to evoke a myriad of sensations from dread to love to terror.

Our Vision

Not only do I strive to tell meaningful stories, but for Obsidian Skull Press to serve as an inclusive platform where all underrepresented voices in fiction and art can be shared, heard, and celebrated, aiding in both the growth and appreciation of their work. It is my goal to create an environment where all readers can come to find quality stories and works and explore the unique perspectives and experiences they have to offer.

I invite you to join us as we delve deeply into meaningful conversations about the complexities of culture and the power of imaginative literature as we strive to uncover the boundaries of dark and speculative fiction and discover who and what the genre can encompass.
